Professor Levin holds a B.A. in Physics and Astronomy from Barnard College and a Ph.D. from MIT in Physics. She has previously worked at the Center for Particle Astrophysics (CfPA) at U.C. Berkeley, and at Cambridge University in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics.
