Professor Menou received his B.S. from University of Angers (France), and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Astrophysics from Paris XI University (France). He was a Chandra Postdoctoral Fellow at Princeton and a Celerity Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Virginia. He worked as a research scientist at Institut d.Astrophysique de Paris before becoming an associate professor at Columbia.
