SSGSS: The Spitzer-SDSS-GALEX Spectroscopic Survey

Data

The primary data product of the SSGSS program is Spitzer IRS spectroscopy. The Spitzer IRS data reductions are described here. However, the unique advantage of the SSGSS sample is the rich ancillary multiwavelength data available. This includes imaging in the UV (GALEX FUV and NUV), optical (SDSS ugriz), and IR (Spitzer SWIRE IRAC and MIPS, and IRS 16 micron imaging). There is also SDSS optical spectroscopy.

A number of physical parameters (such as stellar mass and star formation rate) have been derived from the optical data by the MPA/JHU group for SDSS studies. These, along with various measured parameters, are avialable as matched catalogs.

We will produce a browsable galaxy atlas with links to the optical and IR spectroscopy
