Data Release Schedule and Products
Schedule
- May, 2008: IRS spectra (SL and LL for the full sample and SH for the 33 brightest galaxies)
- Summer, 2008: Final version 2 (v2) pipeline and processed data complete. Calibrated science data products, merged catalogs complete and released.
- Winter/Spring, 2008-2009: Final merged multiwavelength catalog, value-added catalogs (v2) and template spectra released
Data Products
For each galaxy, we will generate (in FITS format):
- 2-D calibrated SL1-2, LL1-2, SH spectral images and noise maps
- 1-D spectral fluxes and flux errors for each band and order (for selected apertures)
- Combined 1-D low-resolution spectra (5-40 micron) fluxes and flux errors vs. wavelength (for selected apertures)
- Calibrated 16 micron peak-up images and fluxes
- Header calibration and documentation information
- Calibration maps and tables.
For the complete sample we will also build:
- SSGSS catalog of continuum, band and line fluxes (and luminosities)
- Merged multiwavelength catalog including matched-aperture photometry from GALEX, SDSS, 2MASS(Deep) and Spitzer/SWIRE
- Merged spectroscopic catalog including UV-IR spectroscopic data from GALEX,SDSS and SSGSS
- Template spectra for galaxies stacked according to physical properties (e.g. stellar mass, dust content, star formation history)
- Value added catalogs with derived parameters including dust temperatures, band and line ratios, line diagnostics and physical parameters from model fits.
- Documentation for each data product (in the form of header information, white
papers, web-accessible HTML, and refereed publications).
