Columbia University Astronomers will be presenting their research at the American Astronomical Society Meeting, Jan 8th-12th in Austin, TX.
In particular, there are thesis talks from two of our graduating students: Jana Grcevich ("HI in Local Group Dwarf Galaxies" in session 201) and Cameron Hummels ("Investigating Stellar Feedback Models in Hydrodynamics Simulations" in session 311). Prof Kathryn Johnston will discuss her work on "Galaxy Formation Star-by-Star" in an invited talk on Weds afternoon (sess 332).
