April 4, 2018

Emily Sandford at the Paranal Observatory, Chile.

Emily Sandford is the fourth Columbia graduate student to have taken advantage of our Columbia University-Pontificia Universidad Católica (CUPUC) exchange program, funded by the President's Global Innovation Fund. Emily spent a month in Santiago, Chile, collaborating with PUC professor Andrés Jordán. A summary of the projects Emily worked on and her related adventures has been highlighted not just by the Global Center in Santiago but also by the central Global Center office, who came up with that "Stellar Center Student" title. Welcome back, Emily!
