The XVth Latin American Regional IAU Meeting (LARIM) was held in Cartagena, Colombia, from October 3rd to the 7th. Columbia was probably the most represented North American university at the meeting, with recent Ph.D.-recipients Lia Corrales and Ximena Fernández, graduate student Alejandro Núñez, and professor Marcel Agüeros all attending and contributing talks.

Aside from being an opportunity to support the development of astronomy in South America's second most populous country, the meeting was also a great forum for catching up with colleagues (including our friends at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile) and to make new connections. We look forward to LARIM XVI, to be held in Antofagasta, Chile, in 2019.
