I spend the bulk of my time at the Department of Astrophysics, American Museum of Natural History where I work with Jason Maron, Mordecai-Mark Mac Low and Denton Ebel. I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Astronomy, Columbia University (expected completion August 2012). In 2007 at McMaster University, I completed my M.Sc. under Hugh Couchman and James Wadsley. The old website from my seven years around McMaster is still hanging online (hence this page is the second edition). The following table lists some of the topics I have worked on and links to relevant material.

Lagrangian Methods for MHD

Why KH Tests are Hard

Divergence-free Interpolation

Extended Disks

I also have some sidelines in gas chemistry for prototplanetary disks, galactic chemical evolution, and teach classes and mentor High School students in the AMNH/NASA Science Research Mentoring Program. On publications, I am also known as Colin P. McNally or C.P. McNally, to break a NASA ADS name degeneracy.
