I am a Member of the Faculty at Bennington College. My focus is in Physics and Astronomy.

My research focuses on the evolution of galaxies and the effect of environment. Specifically, I am interested in what observations of the nearby Virgo Cluster can tell us about the formation and evolution of galaxies at higher redshift. You can get more information by going to my research page.

I am teaching two courses this term: one course is the second half of the intro physics course here at Bennington called Physics II: Fields. The second course combines Astrobiology and Stellar evolution and is called, simply, Stars, Planets, Life.
