ITALY 2005 - Andrei, Neda, I and the fetus that would become Luka stayed in Venice for 10 days in April and took day trips around the area.

PERU 2004 - Andrei, his parents, and I went to Peru in the Summer of 2004. I was just along for the ride at first, since I'm not in the habit of turning down free trips, but it was by far the most interesting place I've ever been to, and now I have a yen for travel in South America.

BACKPACKING across Europe Summer 2001 - After my semester abroad (see right) I came back to the US for two weeks before backpacking across Europe for 3 weeks with Andrei. We stayed in very cheap hotels (think sharing bathrooms) and splurged on nice meals. Towards the end all the churches started to look alike, so it's good that we took pictures!   Semester ABROAD Spring 2001
Since high school, I have planned to spend a semester in Italy in the Spring of my junior year of college. So I took Italian for two years and then, early January of my junior year, off I went. I chose Florence because it just seemed like my ki
nd of place. I loved my host family and made some life-long friends, including my roommate Vanessa, who was a bridesmaid at my wedding.

My Journal - can anyone fill in the blanks?

TOUR of Europe Summer 1997 - I went on a tour of Europe with the United States Youth Chorale the summer before my senior year of high school. It was my first time in Europe and I had an amazing time. I don't have many pictures because it was pre digital cameras and I somehow managed to triple expose one roll of film. So unfortunately I have no pictures of Italy and not many of Switzerland.
