I am Jordy Davelaar, a theoretical astrophysicist at Columbia University and the Flatiron Institute in New York. My main research interest are the direct environment of supermassive black holes. I am member of the Event Horizon Telescope Collaboration.
I obtained my dr. degree at Radboud University on 24th of August 2020. During my PhD program I spend half a year at the Flatiron Institutes Center of Computational Astrophysics in NY.
