Salvatore Zerbo is a Ph.D. student at Columbia University. He received his bachelor in physics from Drexel University in 2019 where he was a member of the PICO Collaboration working on direct dark matter searches using bubble chambers. He joined Columbia in 2020 to continue dark matter research as a member of the XENON Collaboration. Salvatore’s research interests include detector design, hardware, and simulations.
