Seminar by Heather Prince, Princeton University

The properties of the primordial fluctuations in matter, radiation and neutrinos can help us to discriminate between various inflationary models of the early universe and alternatives to inflation such as bouncing cosmologies. I will discuss the imprint of adiabatic and isocurvature perturbations on the cosmic microwave background power spectrum, and explore how well we can constrain these fluctuations with current and next generation experiments.
