Abigail is a graduate student in the astronomy department at Columbia University. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS in physics and applied mathematics and a minor in astrophysics. At UConn she worked with pulsar timing data, gaining experience in both data combination and data analysis. She created a data release of pulsar timing based accelerations with the goal of using the measurements of acceleration in the Milky Way to map dark matter in the local galaxy.
Abigail has continued her work in gravitational waves, now focusing on cosmology. She is currently developing a joint inference model which uses gravitational wave data from the LIGO/VIRGO/KAGRA network to both model the binary black hole population and constrain cosmological parameters.
