Abigail is a first year graduate student in the astronomy department at Columbia University. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS in physics and applied mathematics and a minor in astrophysics. At UConn she worked with pulsar timing data, gaining experience in both data combination and data analysis. She used the Gaia database to identify the binary companions of millisecond pulsars. Abigail also created a data release of pulsar timing based accelerations with the goal of using the measurements of acceleration in the Milky Way to map dark matter in the local galaxy.
Abigail's current research interests are broad, spanning topics in high energy astrophysics to the study large scale structure and dark matter.
