Public Outreach
Public Outreach is a program of free Friday events, once or twice a month, presented at a public level, followed by questions and answers and visualization. No reservations are needed. Lectures are 30 minutes, and Q&A and visuals last 30 minutes. The talks will be given in Pupin Hall and will be followed by an observation session with telescopes on the roof, weather permitting. For more information, see the Public Outreach website.
Rooftop Variables
Rooftop Variables is a hands-on training program for middle- and high-school science teachers in the New York City area. Even from New York City, it is possible to make scientifically useful observations of variable stars!
