The department gathered on the 14th floor of Pupin to celebrate the remarkable careers of Millie Garcia and Francisco Feliciano.
Millie served as our department administrator for more than 30 years and played an essential role in shaping the department into what it is today. She supported and cared for people at every level, while somehow always ensuring that everything ran smoothly and efficiently.
Francisco was our grants administrator for over 20 years and supported the submission of proposals for astronomical research. He had a unique ability to keep everyone on track—firm when needed, but always in service of the team’s success.
Both Millie and Francisco were a true pleasure to work with, and we wish them all the very best in their future endeavors.
