The Department of Astronomy is thrilled to welcome Max Isi as an Assistant Professor. Professor Isi is an expert on gravitational waves, black holes and the techniques we can use to analyze these data. He holds a joint appointment between Columbia and the Simons Foundation, Center for Computational Astrophysics for his first few years. Max has already been featured by Columbia and represents a key addition to the research and teaching expertise of our faculty.
